April 20 is the worldwide day of celebration of all things marijuana.
San Bernardino County has failed to live up to their commitment to implement California's medical marijuana laws and allow patients safe, reliable and local access. The Sheriff's office has begun a systematic program of raiding collectives and arresting collective operators, employees and even patients. This is beyond the pale and one of the most effective avenues to try and stop these hideous practices is to once again go before our elected officials on the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors and demand that they take action to reign in the lawless actions of SB County law enforcement. The democratic and American way to do that would be to send a letter, email, phone call or to attend the next meeting of the Board.
Tuesday, April 27 at 10 a.m. will be the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors meeting at the County Administrative Building at 385 N. Arrowhead Ave. in downtown San Bernardino. Please attend and voice your opinion.
It is a shame that the citizens of this free and democratic nation must go out and protest and pass referendums with the only purpose of curbing the lawless actions of the people we have hired and elected to represent our best interests and to enforce our laws. The local elected officials of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties have failed the people and have lost control of Law Enforcement to the degree that now we see the tail wagging the dog. The Sheriff, DAs and police departments are acting in a criminal and lawless way by telling the elected officials what they want to do instead of following policy and laws initiated by the people. This must stop.
You can help by supporting the Tax and Regulate Initiative and by contacting your local representatives. It will take everyone to overcome the oppressive grip of a small group of very intense and radical people that have taken control of our way of life.
